Daniel Lango

Senior Associate (Research, Evaluation & Capacity Strengthening)

Daniel Lango is a seasoned researcher with more than 20 years of experience in public health, evaluation, and community engagement. He holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the same institution. His expertise spans qualitative and mixed-methods research, M&E systems design, participatory approaches, and capacity strengthening, with a particular focus on integrating community and indigenous knowledge into interventions.

He has consulted widely for organizations such as Population Council, KEMRI, World Vision, and Population Services International, and contributed to multi-country evaluations and learning projects. His portfolio includes leading evaluations for CARE's SHE-SOARS project, Solidaridad's FOSEK program, and numerous baseline and endline studies in health, governance, and livelihoods.

Daniel has also co-facilitated M&E system reviews and training programs, supporting institutions to improve research uptake and data-driven decision-making. At Karl Jays, he serves as a senior advisor, mentoring the team and leading complex field assignments.
